Vegan Wiener Schnitzel – the Figlmüller way

The development of our vegan Wiener schnitzel was a careful process for us: we wanted to create a plant-based version that would impress in terms of both texture and taste.

Together with our partner Planted, we have created the perfect breadcrumb coating, reminiscent of the classic Figlmüller schnitzel, but purely plant-based.  Thanks to Planted’s specialised production method, a long-fibre structure made from peas, sunflower seeds and oats is created, closely resembling the texture of meat. The result: a crispy, juicy schnitzel that respects Viennese tradition while giving it a modern interpretation.
